Cooking is done by Nico Groot or one of his chefs. They make sturdy contemporary dishes, whenever possible with organic ingredients and seasonal products.
We use products from our own kitchen garden as much as possible. Farmers and growers in the area are involved in our daily supply.

Het Rijk van de Keizer wants to give its visitors something tangible. A memory, an aftertaste or a kitchen secret. Therefore we organize cooking workshops for 12 people or more for private parties and companies.
We also create personalized cooking workshops together with our clients. Think making desserts or chocolates, taste the finest (organic) wines or visit one of our neighborhood farmers by bike.

Catering on location
Het Rijk van de Keizer has become known through catering. We started in “de Jordaan” as a sittingroom restaurant with imperial apple cakes and unique catering concepts.
